Your Character
[/center][/u]Name: Yurin La Vallon
Nickname(s): Yzzy, though no one really knows of that now and she doesn’t divulge such information
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Race/Class: Dark Enchanter
Residence: Kez (She travels quite a lot, depending on her mission)
Occupation: Assassin
Appearance:
A silken curtain of crimson strands that burns a bright red color when sun-stricken cascades down Yurin’s shoulders and halts at a length just past them. She usually leaves it down, framing the contours of her face and at times covering a part of the considerable breadth of forehead she possesses but would put it up in a ponytail if she feels like it.
Her eyes are of a cool gray hue; a gray that is untouched by any other color and one that doesn’t seem to reflect any warmth at all. Sitting atop those icy voids framed by curved lashes are two moderately thin brows that arc rather delicately, giving the girl a dainty look to an extent. Tracing the bridge of a straight and slightly pointed nose, is found a pair of reddish pink lips beneath it that seem to be restricted to a limited range of expressions. Yurin’s oblong-shaped face tapers to a fairly sharp chin.
Yurin has smooth skin of a soft beige tone. Her cheeks are sprinkled with a few lightly-colored freckles and possess fairly visible cheekbones tinted with a pale rosy shade that darkens to scarlet when she’s ever embarrassed or if she’s cold.
Yurin’s slender and lithe frame stands at a good five feet and seven inches, endowed with agile limbs that facilitate her unusually quick reflexes, elegantly long and slender fingers that are well taken cared of, small shoulders, a suitably curved torso and comparatively small feet. She is naturally graceful and stealthy in movement. Yurin walks with a smooth and purposeful gait at an unhurried but confident pace when she isn’t on the hunt for her target. She has a tendency to cross her arms across her chest or cross her legs when sitting.
Yurin has perfectionism of sort and is extraordinarily scrupulous when putting her clothes on. She always takes time to look neat and presentable, even after a kill. Yurin’s preference is dark-colored garments. Her air of haughtiness makes even clothes of simple nature seem affluent and worthy enough to be donned by any decent Enchanter. Never will one see Yurin in tattered or frayed rags.
Personality:
Yurin is reticent and observant to an extent of being viewed as aloof. While she would rather be inconspicuous than attract a good amount of attention to herself, she can be very shrewd in her observations and eloquent with her words to get what she wants if she so desires it. She has a smoothness that enables her to be subtle yet persuasive. Because she possesses a considerably passionate aversion for failure, she can be rather ruthless when working her way to accomplishment.
Being a quick learner, she also makes use of the skills she has learned to the fullest of her capabilities when reaching for a goal. When making decisions, she thinks a situation over and tries to examine it thoroughly and from every angle possible. She doesn’t like making hasty decisions very much. She would even put a considerable amount of thought into a possible relation with somebody before allowing herself to fall into the illusion of friendship. Around her few friends, she actually is for the most part good-natured and she does allow herself a few laughs. That, however, doesn’t disregard the fact that she conceals her emotions rather skillfully and is able to remain outwardly unperturbed when faced with a crisis.
Approaching her will nonetheless instill in her an obligation to talk to you; talk, she will to, even if it’s strained. She prefers to be alone when thinking or if something bothers her greatly. She isn’t very trusting of people and tends to distance herself from others. She isn’t one to forgive easily nor is she one to forget so a betrayal of her rarely given trust would never go unnoticed; she will never stop at getting even. What’s unusual about that aspect of her behavior is that she isn’t infuriated. She, instead, sees to it that her revenge causes you as much pain and suffering as possible.
History:
Born to Leith and Kiana La Vallon on a gray and drizzling morning, Yurin Isabel was the youngest of three daughters. As the youngest, she had a lot to live up to; more so because of her overachieving sisters. The La Vallon family had been well-known as one of the oldest names in the history of Enchanters.
Yurin, however, never liked being compared and had always pushed herself to her limits in completing tasks. Failure was hardly ever an option; she’d always find a way to elevate her performance. She always believed that reaping the rewards of your labor was worth every second you invested in it.
When she was but a child, Yurin was lighthearted and gregarious; always with a smile on her face and never afraid of trying new things. She was endearingly called Yzzy by her family members. She was constantly up for a challenge in comparison to her more reserved sisters. Her magical abilities were also confirmed at a comparatively earlier age; when she made her eldest sister’s whole collection of books disappear as a form of a prank.
She was just seven years of age when her family was killed. They were killed by other Enchanters in Kez because of the simple fact that they were suspected to have allied themselves with the Dark side. Yurin’s life was spared and she was kept uninformed of the details but death had affected her like nothing else had in her short life. She practically lost everything that was “Yzzy” about her – the sparkle in her gray orbs, the liveliness in her gait and the radiance of her once amiable aura. She became withdrawn and almost cold. Her family was, after all, what the young girl had considered her everything. The loss had dragged Yurin’s vivacity along with it.
The turn-around was almost one hundred and eighty degrees for the little girl who was once full of life and extroverted. The only aspect she had seemingly retained was her drive to achieve and make something of her life. And she still was a prim and well-mannered young lady, extending politeness when necessary. Yet nobody could quite reach her anymore. Loving with her all had brought her an anguish she didn’t want. To prevent that from ever happening again, she held herself behind a wall that a select few can infiltrate.
When she was eleven, Yurin was recruited into further training of her magical capabilities by Dark Enchanters. Her anger and hatred for those who killed her family was allowed to fester and direct her every action during the training. She was driven to become the strongest. Once she was done, she drifted through the realm but finally agreed to become an assassin for the Dark side, with the twisted thought of showing the Enchanters who had killed her family how true their suspicions were and how sorry they will be once they found out.
The catastrophes occurring throughout the realm had placed her in difficult situations such as not being able to make her kill but then Yurin has never allowed herself to be deterred by anything once she sets her mind to it. Now eighteen, she has the experience and skill but none of the sentiments she so conceals from others. Unless she realizes there is more to life than revenge and such, the path she takes leads to possibly, her own destruction.
