Nezhrym is a world that is parallel to our own but it is seemingly of another matter altogether. Its era is a cross between the Medieval and Renaissance periods; kings, queens, knights, blacksmiths, bakers, farmers, maids and more can be found throughout the three kingdoms spread across five continents. Of the five, only three have Kingdoms that rule over its respective land. Kez, Chenu and Thearis each have a residing ruling family and nobles. Athuil, it being home to the Elves, doesn't have an established Kingdom but has a hierarchy of its own. Elves are proud creatures and wouldn't have been likely to accept humans to have rule over them. Grus, in the meantime, is Dunmhar territory. People prefer leaving it as it is, for fear of the said creatures. The animals in Nezhrym are basically the same ones here on Earth but there are magical creatures that are present among its inhabitants.
Language used by the inhabitants of the world is English. Only the Elves are capable of speaking another language besides English; that is Elven language. Some of the more modern-day expressions might be used. Clothing can differ greatly. The nobles could afford to dress themselves in extravagant gowns while commoners wear tunics and tights. Transportation is done with horse-drawn carriages and riding horseback. Of course, traveling on foot is also an option. Currency is in gold, silver and copper coins. Gold is of highest value, silver is next, and the least value is that of the copper coins. Religion in Nezhrym varies as much as it does on Earth. It can be a factor that’s overlooked for the convenience of having no conflicts aside from the conflict between races. Education is for boys and girls alike. Though nobles may have a private tutor, the less privileged have small schools that provide decent education. Months have no names but they are numbered, fourteen months in a year and three weeks in each month.
