He walked in silence for a long while, while Adara followed behind him. His crystal blue eyes kept close watch on the surroundings, he did not want to be surprised. The small village was not far now, just over the next little hill. The trees were already beginning to thin and the sunlight was becoming brighter.

She was supposed to be relieved they were nearing a village, wasn't she? So... Why was it that she felt her heart fill with apprehension. "Ryven, I—" What was she to say now? That she didn't want to go further? That she refused his help? No. That would be rude of her to do so.
"Are the people in the village magical?" She asked. If they were, she'd have no reason to hide the color of her hair or the color of her eyes then. If they weren't...

Ryven though a moment before answering her. He had heard many things about this village.
"From what I hear there are many different kinds of people. They treat all types the same, they do not fear or hate the magical types," he told her.
It wasn't very hard to believe that a village like this would have a stance like that, they were some what secluded and had never had troubles with the magicals abusing their power. Ryven just wished that more of these villages existed.
"I guess there are certain advantages to living way out here," he commented with a smile.

Adara nodded and directed a curious glance at Ryven. It was as if he'd read her apprehension correctly and had put her doubts about the people in the village at ease. That was well.
"I suppose." Adara said in agreement.

He looked back at her for a moment. He could sense a sort of relief come across her when he told her about the village.
He turned his attention back to the journey. He could already see the smoke rising from the village.
"Looks like the village is preparing for its evening meal," he told her.
